This gate was build for the entrance of the common people in the amer palace. In the top floor of Gate there was “Naubatkhana”. Naubat is a type of music. It housed the kettle durums and other musical instruments. For play the instruments it had own specific protocol that had to be strictly followed. When it was played the listeners were hear the music silently.
